In a country where only 5% of the Brazilian population speaks English, and the language is a barrier between public school students and higher education, knowing English becomes a social marker. You can change this reality by sharing your knowledge to empower the personal and professional lives of young talents and allow them to become citizens of the world.
Join our volunteer team!
As a volunteer at CPM, you can choose to teach English or be part of the administrative team at the teaching units, in the regular English course or in CPM Qualify, our preparatory course for Cambridge proficiency exams. No experience is necessary, we will provide all the support and training you need to work at CPM. Check the prerequisites for each role:
VOLUNTEACHER
Volunteer English Teacher
- Minimum 6-month commitment (1 semester) to serve as a volunteacher in the regular English course and 1-year commitment (2 semesters) to serve in CPM Qualify
- Minimum age: 16 years old
- Advanced English
- Availability to participate in 6 to 8 classes per semester, on weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
- Availability of approximately 8 hours per month
- Identification with CPM’s cause and values
SUPPORT TEAM
Volunteer that supports the administration of Teaching Units
- Minimum 6-month commitment (1 semester) to serve as an administrative volunteer in CPM’s regular English course and 1-year commitment to serve in CPM Qualify
- Minimum age: 16 years old
- For some roles, proficiency in the English language is required
- Skills in coordinating processes, activities, events, and training sessions at the Teaching Units
- Identification with CPM’s cause and values
